It’s that time of the year again, when the Southern Bluefin Tuna  are in the Great Australian Bight.

Easter this year is earlier than last year, and as we have always ran the Tuna Classic the weekend after Easter, this year it means the competition will be the 13th to the 15th of April.

Teams from SA, interstate and overseas have made contact so early nominations are advisable as a limit of 20 boats has been made. Last years tournament results were sensational, amongst the 14 boats over the two days, 459 fish qualified and were released (5,000kg of Southern Bluefin Tuna). This created a new international standard for light tackle deep sea sport fishing!
